Review:
3 stars

I really enjoyed reading Wyvern Awakening - in general, I love reading books about dragon shapeshifters, and this book was a nice read about a wyvern shifter.  There aren't that many good dragon shifter books and I am glad that I stumbled across this one.

I felt like the characters were all very well written, and developed. Along with the storyline, which was very intriguing. This book was lacking in the romance area (which is something that I do enjoy when reading), but it was fine without it - and it looks as if romance might be in the future.

The huge reason this book didn't receive four stars from me was because of the pacing. It was really slow, and in some parts of the story made the story boring. And I really don't like being bored when reading.

All in all, a good story. Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series when it comes out. Recommend to fantasy lovers.
